The Collingwood Football Club will travel up the Maroondah Highway to visit Healesville for its annual Australia Post AFL Community Camp in 2013.

The Magpies will spent February 18 and 19 in the town, which is located more than 50 kilometres north-east from the Westpac Centre.

Healesville’s local football club competes in the Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League and has produced players the calibre of West Coast Eagles champion David Wirrpanda and the Moore brothers, Kelvin (Richmond) and Andrew (Port Adelaide).

Arriving three days after its opening NAB Cup fixture against Essendon and the Western Bulldogs, the Magpies will be involved with the Healesville community, carrying out training sessions and visiting local community hubs.

In 2012, Collingwood visited Wangaratta in northern Victoria. You can view photos from the camp here.
