Collingwood's Head of High-Performance Jarrod Wade has provided an injury and health update ahead of Collingwood's Round 2 match against Footscray (Western Bulldogs) at the MCG on Friday night.

Jordan De Goey
Jordan De Goey is available for selection this week after getting through the main training session held on Tuesday morning.
Will Hoskin-Elliott
Will Hoskin-Elliott was sidelined for Collingwood's Round 1 clash after sustaining a knock to his back during the opening round. Following today’s main training session, Hoskin-Elliott is available for selection.
Oscar Steene
Oscar Steene, who is returning from a finger injury, will be available for selection following clearance from the surgeon this week.
OTHER:
Ash Johnson
Ash Johnson will be sidelined for a number of weeks after fracturing his left fibula in Collingwood's VFL pre-season game against the Northern Bullants on Friday. Johnson had surgery today with the Club to provide further update on his recovery period in due course.
Fin Macrae
Fin Macrae is progressing well in his return from a shoulder injury. Macrae has not been cleared of contract training yet but is expected to be available for selection following the Round 3 BYE.
Oleg Markov
Oleg Markov is progressing well in his recovery from a calf injury. He has started a running program and is expected to be available after the BYE.
Tom Mitchell
Tom Mitchell has had suffered a setback in his program. Mitchell experienced some pain in his right ankle, separate from his left plantar fascia injury. He will de-load over the coming week before increasing his training loads again.
Iliro Smit
Iliro Smit, who is recovering from a larynx fracture, has been cleared by a specialist to return to full contact training. He will be assessed throughout the week to determine his availability to play VFL on Saturday.
