After 14 rounds of the 2010 home-and-away season, Collingwood has received just one nomination for the Mark of the Year and Goal of the Year award (Phil Manassa Medal).

Jack Anthony’s high overhead mark in the win over the Western Bulldogs in round one is the only Magpie nomination for either award this year.??

That’s right folks.

Former Western Bulldog champ Luke Darcy (heads up the nomination panel for goals), who averaged 0.8 goals per game in his 13 seasons as a ruckman, didn't think any of Alan Didak’s three goals on Saturday night were worthy of a nomination.??

While many members of the Magpie Army were left spellbound from Didak's performance, Darcy clearly thought it was all very pedestrian.

Unless, of course, he is still waiting for Foxtel to be installed.

On the marking front, Robert Walls (on the panel for marks) didn’t think Darren Jolly’s spectacular leap over West Coast’s Nic Naitanui in the goal square at the end of the third term, deserved a spot in the top three marks of the week.  ??

Jolly's mark sent aftershocks through the Docklands yet didn't register a single beep on Walls' Richter scale.

Maybe if the umpires allowed Dale Thomas the goal he deserved, Collingwood supporters would have the option of voting for one of their own for the second time this year.??
