Collingwood youngster Jordan De Goey was one of ten players to poll a vote in the AFL Rising Star Award on Tuesday.
De Goey and Tim Broomhead were the two Magpies to attend the annual function at Melbourne's Crown Palladium after receiving nominations earlier in the year.
Melbourne's Jesse Hogan was the 23rd winner of the award, polling 49 votes to finish ahead of Carlton's Patrick Cripps (41 votes) and West Coast's Dom Sheed (27).
De Goey received his vote from Port Adelaide legend Warren Tredrea, who joined AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan, Football Operations Manager, Mark Evans, draft guru Kevin Sheehan and former players Kevin Bartlett, Luke Darcy, Danny Frawley, Glen Jakovich, Cameron Ling and Matthew Richardson.
