On securing a top eight spot
When asked on his thoughts about moving into the eight if we win on Sunday, Fly said he pays no mind to ladder position.
"I don't look at the ladder at all," he said.
"We are in the process of getting better every day, what that equates to at the end of the year we don't now yet.
"It looks like we will have an unchanged lineup for the second week in a row which is nice.
"We've had a couple of wins against good opposition so it builds belief in what we're capable of."
On facing the Hawks
"I speak to Sam Mitchell regularly, I've prob spoken to him three or four times this season about opposition and trends of the game," Fly said.
"He's doing a great job and I wish Breust all the best for his 250th game - they are great people and I hope they have a great day but I hope we get the result.
"Brendan Bolton spent a long time (at Hawthorn) too.
"We know how they're going to play and we know personalities, but does it help? I'm not sure.
"It gives you a little more insight."
Josh Carmichael
"He's not going to play this weekend... we don't want to throw him in the deep end - he doesn't know our structures or game plan yet."
"He's a hard running mid and he's played some great footy this year.
"We love his running capability we think he will really complement our midfield."
"If he can settle into our environment and play good footy at VFL level, he's a player we think can play AFL for the rest of the year."
