Nathan Kreuger and Beau McCreery will both miss the next four weeks, while Mason Cox and Taylor Adams will be available for round three.
High Performance Manager Jarrod Wade provided an update on our injury list ahead of Saturday's match against Geelong.
"We have a couple of good news stories this week - Mason Cox was unavailable last week (ankle) but he was able to get into some good training over the weekend," Wade said.
"He trained fully with the team today (Tuesday) and he will be available for selection this week."
Taylor Adams left the field in the fourth quarter against Adelaide with an exercise induced migraine.
"(The migraine) was related to the heat - luckily Tay had one in the pre-season so we knew what we were dealing with," Wade said.
"He trained fully today so he will be available for selection too."
Nathan Kreuger had an immediate impact in his debut for the Pies, taking four marks and kicking two goals before he was subbed off late in the match with a shoulder injury.
"He actually had a slight subluxation, that's when the shoulder joint pops out and in straight away," Wade said.
"We sent him for scans and there's a small amount of damage in that shoulder but at the moment there's nothing that requires surgery.
"It will be some conservative management for Kreugs, he has good movement and function in that shoulder.
"It's looking to be a four-week injury; we will rehab him and make sure he's nice and strong before we return him into play."
Beau McCreery had hip soreness after Saturday's game and scans revealed a hip flexor tear.
"We don't see this injury in footy often, the typical time frame for this type of tear is 21 days - that's a three or four week injury," Wade said.
"He will return sometime around round five or six."
Isaac Chugg left our round one VFL game in the second quarter after copping a knee to the stomach.
"He was sent to hospital to check his internal organs," Wade said.
"He has an abdominal wall injury, essentially a cork in his ab muscle which is really uncomfortable.
"We will assess him later in the week and that will determine if he's available for selection."
Jordan Roughead has progressed to contact work following his shoulder surgery and Wade said he's pulled up well.
"He's not back into full contact yet, we will look to return him to full contact next week ahead of round four," he said.
"His strength has remained in that shoulder joint and we expect him to be available for round five or six.
Nathan Murphy is no longer in a moon boot and he's walking comfortably after his ankle dislocation.
"He can't start running yet but he will start running at the back end of next week and will be looking at a return in round seven to nine," Wade said.
"Charlie Dean is still in the boot, he comes out of that at the end of next week and he is expected to be available between round eight and round 10.
"We will have a better idea about his return date when he's out of the boot."
