Despite the significant blow of Jamie Elliott going down with a fractured fibula in the win over Carlton, the Magpies injury list is relatively healthy heading into round 3 against Brisbane.
Trent Bianco and Elliott are the only two on the list that are unavailable for selection on Thursday night.
In positive news, Will Kelly, Reef McInnes and Mark Keane return from their respective injuries through a VFL practice match against Richmond on Saturday.
See below for a full injury update, presented by AIA Vitality.
Jamie Elliott (lower leg) - Expected return: 10-12 weeks
Had surgery on Friday on a fractured fibula. Elliott also sustained minor ankle ligament damage.
Trent Bianco (knee) - Expected return: 4-6 weeks
On medication to assist with significant knee swelling. Will continue to be monitored week-to-week.
Willy Kelly (collarbone) - Available for selection
Got through full contact last week and is available to return via the VFL on Saturday.
Reef McInnes (finger) - Available for selection
Completed full contact and tackling last week. Available to play VFL.
Mark Keane (finger) - Available for selection
