Collingwood is welcoming fans into its inner sanctum of an AFL pre-season through its new docuseries, titled 'The Grind'.
Premiering exclusively on Collingwood's website and YouTube channel from this Sunday, March 2, the four-part series takes viewers inside the AFL team’s pre-season and offers a glimpse into the lives of electrifying forward Bobby Hill, new-recruit Dan Houston and emerging leader Isaac Quaynor.
Hill’s story showcases his life as a young father and highlights his firsthand experience of representing the Indigenous All Stars in Perth while Houston’s journey highlights how he settles in at his new club, his go-to place outside of football and the moment he pulls on the black and white for the first time.
Follow along as emerging leader Quaynor embraces his Ghanaian heritage, explores his passions beyond football and sets the standards for his teammates on the training track.
Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly said:
“As a Club we pride ourselves on opening the doors and bringing our fans along for the journey and one way we do this is through our storytelling,” Kelly said.
“The Grind aims to welcome our Members, supporters and the wider football community into the four walls of Collingwood, providing everyone with an insight into our Club’s pre-season through the eyes of AFL players Bobby Hill, Dan Houston and Isaac Quaynor.
“Each athlete has a unique story to share beyond the football field and we thank them for their openness; Bobby representing the Indigenous All Stars is powerful viewing, Dan’s journey as an established player embracing a new chapter and Isaac authentically sharing his Ghanian heritage and culture.
“We look forward to sharing The Grind and bringing Members and supporters along the journey on the eve of our 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.”
