Steele Sidebottom is back for Thursday night football.
The 30-year-old returns for his first game since round 13 last season and the star midfield is pumped to be back out on the MCG.
“Yeah, I’m sure I’ll spend some time there [in the forward line] tomorrow night. Hopefully, I can hit the scoreboard and celebrate with the crowd again," Sidebottom said on Wednesday.
Sidebottom's experience and leadership will be of great value for the blockbuster clash against Carlton.
Callum Brown has been elevated from the medical substitute and will play a role up forward for the Pies, while Jordan De Goey is set to play his 100th game for the club.
Our substitute will be out of the four emergencies; Trey Ruscoe, Darcy Cameron, Oliver Henry and Nathan Murphy. This will be confirmed one hour before the game starts.
