Collingwood has finalised its 30-player squad for the 2021 season following the AFL Women’s draft last week.
The selection of five draftees last Tuesday saw the Magpies add some young and impressive new talent to the squad.
Both Tarni Brown (Pick 19) and Joanna Lin (Pick 26) will be added into the midfield group along with Amelia Velardo (Pick 25) who also has experience as a small ruck.
The Magpies forward line will be joined by Abbi Moloney (Pick 31) while Bella Smith (Pick 33) may feature down back or as a utility.

The Pies also picked up three exciting players during the sign and trade period.
Aliesha Newman has spent the last four seasons with the Melbourne Football Club where she gained a reputation as one of the league’s best small forwards, while Abbey Green joins the Pies as a ruck-forward after her debut season with North Melbourne last year.
Imogen Purcell arrives at the Holden Centre as a cross-code rookie having been a member of the 2019 Australian rowing team while also having played a range of other sports including netball, basketball and track and field at a high-level.
The Pies also managed to retain 22 players from its 2020 list including five of its foundation players.
Victorian-based AFLW squads resumed training on a volunteer basis last week having been granted an exemption from the Victorian Government.
