* THOMAS THE TAG ENGINE
Who said Maestro Mick was set in his ways?  Yes, the game was uglier than a room full of Tori Spellings but that's neither here nor there.
The important thing is that as the season unfolds deliciously like the wrapper of a McFeast Deluxe, Daisy Thomas is showing more strings to his bow than the London Philharmonic Orchestra.  His early work on Judd where he played a key part in our forward momentum was maggienificent.  He really is developing a 50/50 split between flair and hard work & the Woods are reaping the rewards.

* THE 'I SEE IT BUT I DON'T BELIEVE IT EVEN THOUGH I DO BELIEVE IT' DEPT.
In this world nothing surprises me, Rove McManus' 3 Gold Logies for example, but Sir Leon of Neon's bold and bodacious bouncing boundary line baby was a bleedin' bewwwwwwwdy and it even took me by surprise.

* THE GOLDEN FIST
A great name for a fillum yes, but an even better name for a prestigious new award.
Yeah, the Brownlow is footy bling.  Sure, the Rising Star is good get.  And of course snagging a Copeland is a bit like Dudley Moore scoring with Bo Derek.

But how impressive does this sound:
TRIPLE GOLDEN FISTER NICK MAXWELL
Let's face it, he wins 08 posthumously & has 09 sewn up tighter than a tupperware girdle.  Besides, who wouldn't want a gold fist hanging around their neck?  Now that's fashion!

* THE 'P-JAC OWNS FEV' SHOW
Don't ya just love Presti?

* CAROLINE WILSON (AGAIN!)
Is there anything she DOESN'T claim to know?
Apparently she's running the CFC now!

Dear Hotrod,
Why is it that when the Bloose get pantsed by the Pies, Judd & Fevola pretend they have foot injuries?
P. Renton (Kealba)

It makes a change from their ex prez putting his in his mouth!

Hi Hotrod,
I'm really glad you gave 'Toothpaste' Toovey the credit he deserves last week.  I loved his running goal on Friday night.
Rebecca P (South Morang)

Too vee or not Toovey, that is the question.
And it's a question all Collingwood supporters must ask themselves.
Do they have what it takes to march in Toovey's Army?

Hello Hottie,
Just a thought mate. If the media called the Cats v Saints the game of the year & are now calling the Cats v Hawks the game of the year, it logically follows that a Cats v Cats match would be the game of the century doesn't it?
Kip Stone (Eltham)

It makes sense to me!
