Collingwood ruckman Darren Jolly will run out for his first match in season 2011 as he headlines 10 changes to the 29-man squad set to face West Coast on Saturday night.
Jolly was rested for the opening two rounds of the NAB Cup and returns to the side which held off Sydney last week.
The squad will travel to Perth on Friday and will be finalised to 26 players, including two substitute players, 90 minutes prior to the bounce.
The major outs include Heath Shaw, Brent Macaffer, Leigh Brown, Luke Ball and Chris Tarrant.
Alan Didak and Brad Dick remain on the sideline but are on track for a round one start later this month.
Collingwood’s depth appears strong this season with six Magpies featuring in their third straight NAB Cup match having not played in season 2010. Andrew Krakouer, Lachlan Keeffe, Simon Buckley, Ben Sinclair, Alex Fasolo and Jye Bolton are all placing pressure on the premiership 22 ahead of the home-and-away season.
If Collingwood secures the away win on Saturday night it will face off in its second pre-season grand final in three years after losing to Geelong in 2009.
