The AFL has announced locations for the 2012 Australia Post AFL Community Camps, with the Magpies set to visit regional Victorian location Wangaratta in February.

Collingwood players will conduct training sessions and visit schools, nursing homes and hospitals over a two-day stretch on Tuesday 21 February and Wednesday 22 February.

Wangaratta is in the northeast of Victoria, about 230 kilometres from Melbourne on the Hume Highway.

It is a town with strong Collingwood links, with Magpies legend Bob Rose having coached the Wangaratta Rovers to Ovens & Murray League premierships in 1958 and 1960.

A full schedule of activities will be made available to the public closer to the camp.

The Magpies take to the field for their first NAB Cup hitout the weekend prior to the 2012 community camp when they travel to Blacktown International Sportspark in Sydney to take on the GWS Giants and the Western Bulldogs on Saturday 18 February.

Last year Collingwood visited Moe and Morwell in Victoria for the 2011 community camp. You can watch CTV interviews with Alan Didak, Tyson Goldsack and Harry O'Brien from last year's community camp on Collingwood's official YouTube channel.
