Celebrating the 80s: The jumper
Collingwood has always worn Black and White stripes, but there have been several different versions of it as collingwoodfc.com.au explains.
From photo galleries to highlights packages, supporters can take a trip back to an era when flair and flamboyance were the order of the day and Victoria Park was the centre of the universe.
We'd love you to send us YOUR photos of Collingwood in the 1980s – be it at the football or of you and family and friends supporting the Magpies from elsewhere – in the 1980s to 80karmy@collingwoodfc.com.au or on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #80karmy. The best photos will be featured on collingwoodfc.com.au later this week.
In this photo gallery, we list each jumper worn by Collingwood during the 1980s as well as the iconic sponsors that adorned the jumper during the decade. All graphics and explanations are courtesy of www.footyjumpers.com, a website that comprehensively covers every jumper worn in the history of the VFL/AFL competition.
