Collingwood has placed West Australian recruit Jackson Ramsay on its long-term injury list.

Ramsay, 18, injured his wrist during the second quarter of his debut VFL game against North Ballarat at Victoria Park a fortnight ago.

"Jackson Ramsay is likely to miss a couple of months with a wrist injury he picked up a couple of weeks ago," said Director of Football Geoff Walsh in collingwoodfc.com.au's injury report.

"Unfortunately for Jackson, his injury is going to keep him sidelined for the next 8-10 weeks."

Ramsay is the second player to be added to Collingwood's long-term injury list. He joins fellow draftee Tim Broomhead who has been suffering from glandular fever.

The club has not named a replacement for Ramsay at this stage.

Drafted with selection No. 38 in last year's National Draft, Ramsay is the second youngest player on an AFL list in 2013. A product of WAFL club East Perth, he gathered 10 possessions in his one VFL outing before he suffered his wrist injury.
