2002



A fresh-faced 17-year-old from Westmeadows goes through his paces at Victoria Park in February, 2002.

2003



Swan is splashed with Powerade after debuting in the round 13 win over the Western Bulldogs at Telstra Dome. Swan had eight possessions and a tackle in the 43-point victory.

2004



Swan takes on and beats a Julian Rowe tackle during a training session at the old Edwin Flack Oval.



Bursting away from Adam Ramanauskas on his ANZAC Day debut in round five. The Magpies lost by 33-points on a cold and damp Melbourne afternoon.

2005

2006



Four goals + 26 possessions x 102-point victory over Geelong = 3 Brownlow votes (round eight, 2006. Arguably Swan's breakout game).



At full stretch in an attempt to beat Essendon in round 19, 2006. Swan was at his best in the last quarter, reading the play beautifully to steam past a stationary James Hird to intercept, snap and goal to drew Collingwood level with the Bombers midway through the quarter.

2007



A three quarter time meeting with (then) former teammate and close friend Dane Swan.

2008

2010



A new-look Swan puts Carlton to the sword in round six, 2010.



Swan pounded the Western Bulldogs with 39 possessions and three goals in the Qualifying Final. Jarryd Blair was most appreciative while opponent Tim Callan can't bear to look.

Swan wasn't a part of the 2002 and 2003 Grand Final losses but felt the pain of defeat against Geelong in 2011.

2012

Best afield against the Bombers on ANZAC Day with 42 possessions and three goals...and an ANZAC Day Medal.



Fourty-nine possessions. Yes. Fourty-nine possessions against Hawthorn in round 17. And still Collingwood lost.
