Nathan Buckley has confirmed defender Darcy Moore will be right to line up in Collingwood’s qualifying final against Geelong on Friday, September 6.

Moore has battled hamstring problems during recent months and sat out the last part of the round 23 win over Essendon.

But Buckley has allayed any concerns over Moore’s ability to play in the Pies’ first final.

“Darce will play,” the Collingwood coach told SEN’s Whateley.

“He like the rest of us and the rest of the players train up and prepare at your best and get some work in at the session tomorrow and get some time away.

“We’ve got a relatively short week into the game so we’re looking forward to what that is and Darcy is just one of that’s in the process of getting his mind, body and spirit absolutely ready to perform on the night.”

Jordan de Goey (hamstring) and Jaidyn Stephenson (suspension) are among the players pushing to be recalled for the big clash with the Cats.
