Two of Collingwood’s quickest players will have their ankle injuries tested ahead of Saturday’s Semi Final against West Coast.

Half forwards Tyson Goldsack and Caolan Mooney have been hampered by ankle complaints in recent times but will be assessed by the club’s medical team later this week.

Goldsack, who played all bar two home and away games, was forced to watch last Friday’s Qualifying Final loss to Hawthorn from the grandstand after injuring his ankle against Essendon in round 23.

He had previously missed consecutive matches against Sydney and North Melbourne due to an ankle injury sustained against St Kilda in round 19.

Mooney, meanwhile, has not played since the round 21 loss to North Melbourne when he injured his ankle when tackled in the final quarter.
