Dick to train with Pies
Collingwood has invited four recently delisted Magpies to train with the club in the lead up to next month’s pre-season draft.
Brad Dick, Daniel Farmer, Scott Reed and Trent Stubbs are permitted by the AFL to train at the Westpac Centre up until the rookie draft on December 13.
Dick, 23, has struggled with injury in his five seasons at the Magpies and has booted 32 goals from 27 games since his debut in 2007.
Reed was the first NSW scholarship player to sign with the Magpies and has played at both ends of Victoria Park since 2008 while Farmer and Stubbs both served roles under Tarkyn Lockyer after they were drafted in 2010.
Collingwood will have two selections in the national draft with picks 50 and 62 while pick 67 will be used for NSW scholarship player Jarrod Witts to join the primary list.
NSW scholarship player Michael Hartley and prelisted international rookie Caolan Mooney from County Down Ireland will be prelisted rookies on December 13.
