Barry Carp
President
Barry’s passion is investing in great people and businesses globally. He started his career as a lawyer advising companies on mergers and acquisitions with law firms, Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Melbourne and Mayer Brown and Platt in Chicago.
He then went on to assist clients in the capital markets in the corporate finance division of Macquarie Bank. In 1996, together with his wife Suzi, Barry established The River Capital Group.
River Capital is an independent, investment firm based in Australia with an uncompromising commitment to investor and community success.
Barry’s investment philosophy is based on curiosity, humility, and being open to new opportunities.
