Collingwood is pleased to officially unveil its 2024 AFLW Pride Guernsey.

Collingwood’s Pride Guernsey will make its first appearance during the official Round Seven Pride match against Port Adelaide next Thursday at Alberton oval, before wearing it for a second time in front of a home supporter base during the Round Eight match against Adelaide at Victoria Park.

This season’s guernsey features a bright gradient rainbow that travels down the middle of the jumper, alongside the iconic Collingwood black and white stripes.

The guernsey symbolises the Club stands Side by Side with the LGBTIQA+ community, to champion an inclusive and connected environment for all people.

Collingwood forward Nell Morris-Dalton, who is proudly part of the LGBTIQA+ community, shares the importance of the round and the pride the playing group have wearing the guernsey.

“Pride Round is always a special part of the season to celebrate and recognise the importance of the LGBTIQA+ community,” Morris-Dalton said.

“It is great to see our fans, who are either a part of the Pride community or an ally, wear their colours proudly and to know our Club is able to create an environment where everyone feels safe and is able to belong.

“This Round is an opportunity for everyone to feel seen, and for us to represent and celebrate the joy of this community with everyone.

“The guernsey will be worn by our team with so much pride and it isn’t something that we take for granted.”
