Collingwood is excited to announce that Oscar Steene has put pen to paper, signing on for the 2025 season.
Steene signed on as a rookie after training with Collingwood through the AFL’s Supplementary Selection Period in November 2022.
Whilst he is yet to make his AFL debut, the 21-year-old has played 18 games with the Club’s VFL side but was limited to just one appearance in 2024 having sustained a toe injury early in the season.
Head of Football Strategy, Innovation and List Management Justin Leppitsch said:
“We’re delighted to have Oscar re-sign with our Club for the 2025 season,” Leppitsch said.
“Despite battling a toe injury this season, Oscar has made positive steps in his recovery and has shown great resilience and dedication to developing his craft.
“We look forward to Oscar’s continued development within our environment and we’re excited to see him play a part in the future of our ruck group.”
