Collingwood has named skipper Nick Maxwell, reigning three-time Copeland Trophy winner Dane Swan and key forward Travis Cloke in its 29-man squad for Friday night's NAB Cup quarter-final against Sydney at Docklands.
The trio missed the club's victories over Richmond and Carlton in the revamped opening-round three-way format a fortnight ago.
Overall the Magpies have made six changes to a squad that remains very strong and includes 14 premiership players.
Leon Davis is another inclusion, as well as second-year American rookie-list ruckman Shae McNamara, and promising youngster Luke Rounds.
Scott Pendlebury, Darren Jolly, Jarryd Blair, Steele Sidebottom, Chris Dawes and rookie Jack Perham will miss after playing in week one, but all are expected to be available in coming weeks.
The squad will be trimmed to 26 players, including two subsitute players, for the 7:40pm game, which will be televised on delay on Channel Seven. Full television and radio broadcast schedule is below.
Of those players who remain sidelined, Alan Didak, Tyson Goldsack and Brad Dick are all listed as being one week away from returning. CLICK HERE for an updated injury list.
