Collingwood’s VFLW is a development program with its main purpose to prepare the VFLW listed players for drafting. There is no better situation then VFLW finals to simulate the pressure and expectations of an AFLW season.

Therefore, it's important that we utilise the youth of AFLW players and the VFLW list during this time to best prepare them for an AFLW environment. Giving players the exposure of playing multiple on-field roles increases their football development and utility moving into AFLW whilst offering them a different perspective on the football field.

Collingwood’s VFLW program looks forward in seeing these girls prosper coming into the back end of the home and away season and into the final series.

The VFLW Magpies will return to Victoria Park this Saturday where they'll face Essendon in their round 15 clash.
