Six senior Magpies are among a group of over 50 players listed as potential free agents at the end of the 2016 season.
Nathan Brown and Steele Sidebottom are restricted free agents, meaning Collingwood will have the opportunity to match any offers made by opposition clubs at the end of the season.
Dane Swan, Jarryd Blair, Brent Macaffer and Alan Toovey are also on the list released by AFL Media as unrestricted free agents.
Collingwood still has the opportunity to re-sign the players and remove them from the free agent pool prior to the end of the season.
After seven seasons and 143 Collingwood games, Sidebottom, 25, is arguably one of the biggest names in the free agent pond.
As recently as February the midfielder expressed his desire to remain a Magpie beyond his current contract.
"I'm fairly confident (the contract) will sort itself out in the next couple of weeks and I'll get it out of the way before the season starts and just worry about footy," Sidebottom told AFL Media on February 4.
"I can concentrate on my footy the whole year and don't have to worry about contracts and that kind of thing so I'm pretty confident it will sort itself out before the start of the season, no doubt."
