Darcy Moore will remain at Collingwood until the end of 2028.
The 26-year-old today signed a long term deal that could see him play out the rest of his career at the club.
The full-back has played 105 games and kicked 65 goals in the black and white.
Moore returned to the game this season after injuring his right knee in the final minutes of Collingwood’s Round 13 match against Melbourne last year. He was on track for a stellar campaign at that point, later polling in nine out of 13 games in the 2021 E. W Copeland Trophy count.

Prior to injury, Moore’s 2020 campaign was a career-high. Known as one of the league’s best tall defenders he dictated games in defence and attack from the back half. His performance was awarded with an All-Australian blazer.
Moore was elevated to the leadership group in 2021 before being appointed by his peers as vice-captain this year.
“I’m glad to come to an arrangement with the club and continue my football career at Collingwood,” Moore said.
“With a new coaching group and young squad, we are creating strong foundations for the future – this is exciting to be a part of.”
“I understand my role as a leader of this program, and I’m pleased to continue this work for many years to come.”
Collingwood GM of Football Graham Wright congratulated Moore.
“We’re wrapped to extend Darcy so he can potentially finish his career here at Collingwood,” Wright said.
“Darcy is already a vice captain of the club and I’m sure he has aspirations to captain the club down the track.
“All-Australian key defenders, 200cm plus of his calibre are hard to find. We respected the fact he was a free agent at the end of this year, and he would take some time to make his decision.
“We are pleased to come to terms that should see Darcy play out his career at Collingwood.”
