The first re-signings for the 2022 VFL season have been locked in with Kaden Schreiber, Campbell Lane, and Sam Glover all committing to the Pies for next season.
After an interrupted 2021 VFL season, it will be exciting prospect for these boys to line up for a full year of football.
Schreiber played 7 matches in 2021, averaging 11.1 disposals. The versatile defender will look to build on his 2021 season after a finger injury prevented him from finding much consistency throughout the year.
Exciting midfielder Campbell Lane had an outstanding finish to last season. Locking down a wing for the Pies, Lane averaged 20 disposals in the final five games after injuring his knee early in the season.
The ultimate swingman, Sam Glover showed he is capable of doing it on the big stage. Glover was crucial at both ends of the ground for Collingwood, capable of locking down a key forward and then heading up forward to kick a few goals himself. A highlight of the season was three goals in a thriller against Richmond in round 13.
