Collingwood's side will be bolstered by ruckman Brodie Grundy as he returns from a neck complaint sustained in round 10 against Port Adelaide.
Vice-captain Taylor Adams is edging towards a return and will have to train strongly on Thursday to please the selection committee ahead of facing Fremantle.

Mason Cox (larynx) - Available for selection
- Back in full training after a knock to the throat saw him on light duties for a number of weeks. Returned via a VFL scratch match last week.
Brodie Grundy (neck) - Available for selection
- Has been given the all clear to return to full training and will be available for selection against Fremantle.
Trey Ruscoe (ankle) - Available for selection
- Back in full training after a minor ankle roll two weeks ago.
Brayden Sier (jaw) - Available for selection
- Back in full training after the knock that saw him subbed out against the Crows.
Taylor Adams (knee) - Expected return: Test
- Progressing through full football conditioning. Adams trained well on Tuesday and will look to do the same in Thursday's main session to put his hand up.
Nathan Murphy (quad) - Expected return: Test
- Sustained a corkie in the early stages against Melbourne. Murphy is back in light training and will be assessed further on Thursday.
Tyler Brown (shoulder) - Expected return: 2022
- Post-shoulder surgery. Brown is currently in early stages of developing strength and fitness while in a sling.
Aiden Begg (shoulder) - Expected return: 2022
- Post-shoulder surgery. Begg is currently completing a running conditioning block.
Levi Greenwood (concussion) - Expected return: TBA
- Ongoing concussion symptoms. Currently taking part in low level conditioning and non-contact football training. Updates will be provided when we have them.
Jeremy Howe (hamstring) - Expected return: 5 weeks
- A couple of weeks away from football conditioning. Howe is currently completing a running conditioning block.
Reef McInnes (ankle) - Expected return: 3-5 weeks
- Out of the moon boot and has started running conditioning, similar to Jamie Elliott's rehabilitation.
Darcy Moore (knee) - Expected return: 2022
- PCL strain in the dying stages of round 13. Moore will be in a knee brace for 6 weeks before reassessing progress.
