Young's injury fear
Wingman Clinton Young will be assessed during the week after appearing to injure his hamstring in the dying stages of Friday night's win over Adelaide.
In just his second game for the Magpies, Young finished with ice on his hamstring after feeling it go during a chase in the dying minutes of the final quarter.
It is yet another setback for the 27-year-old in a year plagued by calf and hamstring problems, and came at the end of a promising performance in which he had collected 21 disposals.
Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley said he was unsure of the severity of the injury, but the initial prognosis was not promising.
"He's an experienced player and he knows his body pretty well, and he doesn't like what it feels like," Buckley said.
Nominate for Collingwood's best three players against Adelaide in the Magpie Army Player of the Year Award now.
"We haven't got any confirmation, but clearly he was quite disappointed at the end of the match."
Young crossed from Hawthorn as a free agent at the end of last season, having played 116 games over eight seasons in brown and gold.
He played his first game for his new club against Carlton last week.
