Collingwood will blood its fourth debutant of the season with Jay Rantall being called up for the Anzac Day clash against Essendon.

Rantall’s selection for the round six match comes after a solid performance in the VFL last weekend where he finished the game with a team high 28 disposals.

Currently in his second season at the Pies, Rantall was selected at pick 40 in the 2019 AFL Draft after impressing with the GWV Rebels where he took out the best and fairest that same year.

Nathan Murphy makes his long awaited return to senior football. The 21-year-old will contest his third AFL game and his first in 974 days.

Will Kelly is set to play his first AFL game of the season, after breaking his collarbone in the pre-season. Kelly played down back in the VFL last week and will fill the void for Jeremy Howe going down.

Will Hoskin-Elliott returns for the Dons after not making the trip to Perth after his wife Kirstie gave birth to a baby girl, while Trey Ruscoe has been rewarded for a strong game in the VFL last week.

Don't miss the action on Channel 7 and Fox Footy from 3.20pm (AEST).
