Collingwood's VFLW side remain undefeated at the half-way mark of the season after Saturday's 15-point win over the Southern Saints.
The Magpies' recorded their seventh-straight win, 6.5 (41) to 4.2 (26) at Trevor Baker Oval on Saturday morning. The Pies currently sit in second position on the VFLW ladder with Port Melbourne edging out the top spot with a slightly higher percentage.
While Tara Bohanna and Nicole Robertson were quick to get the Saints on the board in the opening term, the Pies were able to gain more control of the game during the second quarter.
The Pies' AFLW-listed players were influential up forward with Bella Smith booting three, Abbey Green with two and Abbi Moloney also putting one on the scoreboard.
Down back, Jasmine Ferguson and Imogen Purcell played crucial roles in holding the Saints scoreless during the third term.
Maddie Shevlin and Caitlin Bunker also led the way in disposals with 25 and 18 respectively.
The Pies will now prepare for the inaugural ANZAC Day match against Essendon next Sunday at The Hangar with the game to kick off at 11am.
