With 39 of 41 players available for selection and plenty pushing their case at training, there will be a number of headaches for the selection committee ahead of facing Brisbane on Thursday night.

The non-playing AFL squad were put through a high volume session last Thursday, as there was no VFL match scheduled. Those not selected in round 3 will head to Punt Road for a practice match against Richmond on Saturday.

See below for who is a chance to be elevated to the senior side.

Chris Mayne
After a bout of concussion, Mayne looks ready to return to competitive football. As per Nathan Buckley's press conference, a decision between Mayne and Murphy is on the cards.

Nathan Murphy
Playing well and training strongly on the wing. Hasn't had all that much luck in previous years, but his chance at senior level looks to be around the corner.

Trey Ruscoe
Medical substitute against Carlton and came on for the injured Jamie Elliott during the second quarter. Ruscoe finished with one major.

Oliver Henry
Omitted from the round 2 clash, a possible inclusion for Jamie Elliott?

Darcy Cameron
As noted in prior articles, Cameron is providing a great option up forward and in the ruck at VFL and training.

Levi Greenwood
Tagging option for Neale?
