Collingwood has appointed dual Adelaide premiership player Ben Hart to the position of assistant coach for season 2012.

The Collingwood Football Club has appointed dual Adelaide premiership player Ben Hart to the position of assistant coach.

The 37-year-old, who has been on Adelaide’s coaching staff for the past four years, will be responsible for Collingwood's defence under first-year senior coach Nathan Buckley.

Collingwood's coaching structure for the 2012 season will be confirmed after the Grand Final.
