One of football’s lesser-known streaks came to an end on Sunday evening.
Collingwood’s win over Fremantle was the club’s first at Domain Stadium since 2011.
The Magpies had lost five games at the Subiaco ground between 2012 and 2016 with an average losing margin of 41 points.

Only three players – Tyson Goldsack, Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom from Collingwood’s previous win at the venue were involved in Sunday’s triumph.
That match, for the record, took place against the Dockers in round 23, 2011.
It was an 80-point win to the Black and White, with the Magpies managing 32 scoring shots to 12.
Travis Cloke and Andrew Krakouer kicked four goals apiece, while Cameron Wood managed a career-high three.
Scott Pendlebury and Dane Swan shared 71 disposals between them.

Perhaps 2017 is the year of the broken streak?
It’s only two weeks since Collingwood notched its first win over Hawthorn since the 2011 Preliminary Final on 23 September.
