Collingwood will play five interstate matches in season 2012, the AFL announced on Wednesday.

With the addition of Greater Western Sydney to the competition, all clubs are required to travel interstate a minimum of five times.

The fixture includes 22 games across 23 weeks with each club facing a bye mid-year across rounds 11, 12 and 13 (six teams per round will have a bye).

This means that the Grand Final will move back to its traditional date on the final Saturday in September.

The NAB Cup competition will commence the weekend beginning on February 17 for nine sides with the remaining nine sides playing the following weekend.  The NAB Cup Grand Final will played on Saturday 17 March.

The 2012 AFL Premiership season fixture will be released on Friday 28 October.

Details of Collingwood’s 2012 membership packages will be communicated to supporters in coming weeks.
