The Collingwood Football Club hosted the Balwyn Tigers as they conducted an Elite Training Session at the Westpac Centre on Tuesday night.

Balwyn plays in Division One of Melbourne’s Eastern Football League, and the side currently sits second on the ladder with eight wins from 11 games.

As part of their Elite Training Session, the Tigers went through a warm up on the sprung floor, a core session with the club’s exercise physiologist Hannah Tuohey, a spin session, and a stint in the pool, ice baths and spa as well as a video review in the theatrette.

Players coming back from injury completed a recovery program as set out by their exercise physiologist which will aid them in getting back on to the field.

Balwyn’s senior side includes players the calibre of Allan Murray, Stephen Kenna and Nick Smith who all graced the playing field for various AFL clubs during the 2000s.
