Outside of injured backman Nathan Brown, Collingwood's list is in a strong position ahead of round one of the home-and-away season after the AFL match review panel cleared the Magpies in last Friday night's NAB Cup grand final.

Contact was reviewed between Essendon's Stewart Crameria and Dale Thomas but the MRP found the Bomber trying to stop himself before colliding with the Magpie.

In its finding, the MRP declared that Crameri had tried to stop before colliding with Thomas and had only "tucked his arm in to protect himself".

It also found that the umpire had correctly paid a free-kick to Thomas, but Crameri had used insufficient force to make the incident a reportable offence.

The club expects Ben Reid and Brad Dick both to be available for the round one clash against Port Adelaide.  Reid was a late withdrawal from Friday's win with an ankle injury while Dick is on track for selection after undergoing a shoulder operation late last year.

Magpie skipper Nick Maxwell is on the mend after receiving a heavy knock in the semi-final win over West Coast and is listed as a test for the opening round while  Brown will miss the season after undergoing a knee reconstruction due to an injury in training last month.
