After spending the day working with the locals of the Mornington Peninsula region, Collingwood concluded its Telstra AFL Community Camp with a recovery session on the shores of the Port Phillip Bay.
A 7am start saw the entire playing group utilising the picturesque setting of the bay for a demanding weights and swim session.
Sports science director David Buttifant worked the players through a series of workout stations in the early morning hour.
The players worked through bench presses, medicine ball throws and sleigh weights with the Sorrento Yacht Club serving as the backdrop.
After completing the ten session program, Buttifant led the jump off the Sorrento pier into the cold waters below. The team completed two laps of recovery in the bay before heading inside for a well-deserved breakfast.
Supporters saw off the players from the yacht club as they headed back to Melbourne.
