Collingwood fans will have their first chance to see new faces like Dan Houston, Harry Perryman, Tim Membrey in the black and white this Thursday when the Pies take on Brisbane and Gold Coast in official match simulation.
Houston, 27, joined the club through the 2024 trade period following 168 games and two All-Australian selections over eight seasons with Port Adelaide.
Perryman, 25, switched to Collingwood as an unrestricted free agent after 129 games with GWS. The lifelong Magpie supporter will join the midfield for the clash with Brisbane.
Membrey, 30, signed as a delisted free agent last year and will press his case to play alongside fellow key forwards Brody Mihocek and Dan McStay in Opening Round.
Fans will also get their first look at 2024 draftees Charlie West (pick 50) and William Hayes (pick 56).
The Pies, who have spent the week at Southport Sharks headquarters on the Gold Coast, will field two separate squads, with 33 AFL-listed players in action.
Several VFL-listed players will participate in the match simulation, including ex-North Melbourne midfielder Curtis Taylor and former Hawthorn forward Josh Bennetts.

The game will be held at the People First Stadium from 6pm AEDT.
Entry is free, while the game will be streamed live on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports.
What’s the format?
The Pies will play four 25-minute periods with no time-on over the two matches.
Game 1: Brisbane vs Collingwood
Game 2: Gold Coast vs Brisbane
Game 3: Gold Coast vs Collingwood
In between matches there will be a training session on the outside oval.
