The Pies' new-look leadership group was announced this morning at the team's pre-season camp on the Gold Coast.

Darcy Moore will continue to lead the Club into 2025, with the defender entering his third season at the helm.

Vice-captains Brayden Maynard and Nick Daicos alongside leaders Darcy Cameron, Dan McStay, Isaac Quaynor and Jamie Elliott will support Moore.

After seven consecutive years in the leadership group, defender Jeremy Howe has decided to step away in an official capacity but will continue to play an important role on the field for the Pies.

The upcoming 2025 AFL Season will be Maynard's second year as Vice-Captain and third season in the leadership group.

The determined defender has epitomised a team-first mentality throughout his 209 games in the black and white.

After claiming the 2024 E.W. Copeland Trophy in only his third year, Daicos is a new addition to the leadership group.

A two-time All Australian, AFL Rising Star and Premiership player, Daicos’ elevation to Vice-Captain is a testament to his leadership growth and impact on and off the field.

Cameron, McStay and Elliott were also added to the group, while Quaynor returns for a second season.

After finishing runner-up in last year's C.W. Copeland Trophy, Cameron's inclusion in the leadership group reflects how his impact and influence continue to grow.

McStay, heading into his third season in the black and white, is another new addition to this year's leadership group.

The experienced forward has played 180 games for the Brisbane Lions and Collingwood so far, kicking 166 majors.

Voted into the leadership group for the first time in 2024, Quaynor is set to continue developing as one of the competition's premier small defenders.

Elliott, who is heading into his 14th AFL season and only six games away from his 200-game milestone, is the Pies' most experienced forward.

Collingwood's EGM of Football Charlie Gardiner congratulated the group on their appointment as leaders.

"We are excited to announce our leadership group for the 2025 season. We are fortunate to have great leadership depth and experience across our squad – it is one of our strengths - and it’s fantastic to see the emergence and recognition of a couple of new players to the leadership group this year," Gardiner said.

"Darcy has done an outstanding job and will continue to lead the side for a third season, alongside Nick and Brayden, who will serve as Vice-Captains.

"With the support of Darcy (Cameron), Dan, Isaac and Jamie, who each bring different strengths and experience to the table, this group will play a key role in maintaining and driving our standards.

"On behalf of the Club, I also wanted to acknowledge Jeremy Howe and his contribution to the leadership group across the past seven seasons. His experience will continue to be an invaluable asset to our side."
