Collingwood's final training session of the week featured 25 players working for over an hour at Gosch's Paddock on Friday morning.

The 22 named plus the three emergencies worked out in front of a large gallery mostly made up of kids and their parents enjoying the school holidays.

Rain pelted consistently for the duration of the session, making it difficult for players to keep their feet in the slick conditions.

Senior coach Mick Malthouse oversaw the various drills his players were put through by assistant coaches Nathan Buckley, Scott Watters, Paul Hudson  and Mark Neeld.

Recalled to the senior side this weekend after a best on ground performance playing down back in the VFL, John Anthony appeared at both ends of the ground as he worked with the backline while also practicing set shots at goal.

The forward group spent the last ten minutes kicking in front of the big sticks with emergencies Jarryd Blair and Luke Rounds taking shots just outside 50.
