Anthony replaces Brad Dick, who injured his shoulder in the win over Sydney last weekend. It’s a tough blow for the 21-year-old as he was forced to undergo a reconstruction on the same shoulder at the end of 2009.??
“Dicky will need a week or two to strengthen the joint and muscles around it to make sure it doesn’t pop out again. If it does, and he requires surgery, that will finish his season. He will go through rehab for the next 10 days or so to build up the muscles around it.”
Josh Fraser will have to wait at least another week to run out for his 200th career match. The 202-centimetre Magpie is named as an emergency after booting three goals in the VFL.??
Fraser joins Luke Rounds and Jarryd Blair (Blair elevated to senior list), both second-year players appearing on the senior team sheet for the first time in their careers.
