We are asking YOU to add to the historical timeline on the official Collingwood Facebook page.
In week two of our timeline, we have chosen to remember the contribution of Mick Malthouse by nominating THREE key moments in Malthouse’s 12-year stint as coach of Collingwood.
The club will pay tribute to Malthouse with a lap of honour around the MCG at half time of Saturday night’s match against Richmond.
The three moments to vote for this week include:
- Malthouse’s first win in his first game as senior coach back in round one, 2000 against Hawthorn.
- The famous 2002 Qualifying Final victory over Port Adelaide when Nathan Buckley was out injured.
- His famous outburst in the coaches box when Scott Burns missed a crucial shot from the top of the goal square against the Power in 2006.

The club will publish a poll on the official Facebook page each week giving fans three options to choose from. The result will be announced on Monday mornings on Facebook and collingwoodfc.com.au.
