Collingwood welcomes back a number of big names for its final regional challenge match of the pre-season, against Hawthorn in Shepparton on Friday night.

Included in the list of ‘ins’ for this week’s clash are Tarkyn Lockyer, Brodie Holland, Nick Maxwell and Tyson Goldsack.

Maxwell and Lockyer return after resting last week, while for midfielder Holland, who got through last Saturday’s reserves intra-club hit out, the game will mark his first senior practice match of the pre-season having overcome lingering achilles problems that required off-season surgery.

Goldsack, the club’s best first-year player in 2007, will also be contesting his first senior practice match after playing in the reserves scratch match last week, having fully recovered from a groin injury.

Emerging key position players Ben Reid and Nathan Brown have also been recalled after being rested last week, while ruckman Chris Bryan has been included in the squad to be trimmed to 24 for the game.
