I hope you have been enjoying our on-field efforts in the NAB Cup competition so far in 2011.
Over the past three weeks we have fielded a mix of youth and experience and it's clear the club is in a great position to launch our attack on the 2011 season. We are all fired up to play Essendon, one of our traditional rivals on Friday night in the NAB Cup Grand Final.

Off field the club is in a strong position with the Magpie Army building over the summer like never before. We are about to eclipse last year's all-time AFL membership record of 58,249 and we're on track for our 2011 target of 70,000 members.
Don't think this gets lost on the players, we are well aware of the importance of membership totals and we are asking every supporter we know to enlist today and join our March to October. You might have seen me in the club's television commercial which officially launched our membership campaign.
So many members have told me how much they loved our ad.
The club is committed to breaking this record prior to Friday night's game and is calling upon you to support this with a great prize for one lucky member.
Currently the club has published our figure of 56,816 members as of yesterday and will not refresh the count until after this week's NAB Cup Grand Final.
The 58,250th member who enlists between now and Friday night's game will win a $2500 shopping spree here at the Collingwood Superstore.
