The AFL has advised that tickets for Friday night's match between Hawthorn and Collingwood at the MCG are selling extremely strongly.

Approximately 4000 seats are still available in the public section of the MCG while just over 2000 seats are remain available for purchase in the AFL Reserve.

The AFL has encouraged all supporters to purchase a ticket in advance.

Tickets are currently on sale through Ticketek (on 132 849), online at ticketek.com.au or at any Ticketek outlet.
 
Public and AFL gates will open at 5.30pm and the MCC Members Reserve will open at 5pm.

The match is a Hawthorn home game and will commence at 7.50pm.

Patrons are advised to catch public transport to the ground due to the anticipated large crowd.
