COLLINGWOOD’S Harry O’Brien was the only player involved in the melee at Saturday’s match to successfully challenge his fine at the AFL Tribunal.
Four of the players fined for being involved in the melee on Tuesday night challenged their fines.
But the tribunal ruled Collingwood's Josh Fraser and Brodie Holland and Carlton's Kade Simpson were all part of the melee.
Fraser and Simpson had their fines increased from $1,500 to $2,000 and Holland had his bumped from $2,400 to $3,200.
O'Brien had his getting his $1500 fine quashed, as the jury believed he was trying to pull a teammate from the melee.
The changed fines meant the melee cost 15 Collingwood and Carlton players a combined $32,400.
Meanwhile, Melbourne key position player Ben Holland has walked free from the AFL Tribunal with a reprimand after pleading guilty to misconduct.
Holland admitted he put his hands in the face of Western Bulldogs captain Brad Johnson at Telstra Dome last Sunday.
The tribunal ruled Holland's defence did not carry the weight of the more serious charge of eye-gouging.
Holland's guilty plea reduced his demerit points to 93.8 and makes him available for selection for Melbourne's round eight game against West Coast on Sunday.
