COLLINGWOOD will unveil debutant Jack Anthony on Sunday in its clash with Richmond at the MCG, after the young defender gained a call up following the late withdrawal of forward Ben Reid.

Anthony, 20, missed all of last season after suffering a pre-season neck injury, after being drafted by the club with selection No.37 overall in the 2005 NAB AFL Draft.

He will start on the field with Leon Davis, Cameron Wood, Dane Swan and captain Scott Burns named to begin on the bench.

Richmond will enter the match as selected, with skipper Kane Johnson, Jay Schulz, Adam Pattison and Greg Tivendale starting on the pine.

Conditions for the MCG encounter are perfect, with sunny weather and clear skies present, and a top of 22 degrees forecast.
