In the beginning...
2000



Josh Fraser was fired up after kicking a goal in the Magpies' 33-point win in Friday night football.



Andrew Dimattina, Andrew Ukovic and Chris Tarrant leave the MCG after snapping Collingwood's nine-game losing streak in season 2000.

2001



Nick Davis' four-year Collingwood career was a blur; Josh Fraser takes on Spida Everitt at a boundary throw-in.



Two new recruits, Jarrod Molloy and Shane Wakelin, celebrate the round 10 victory.

2002



In bright sunshine, Steve McKee thwarts Stewart Loewe at a centre bounce in round 21, 2002.

2003



Chris Tarrant takes one of 17 marks in front of Troy Schwarze against St Kilda in round nine, 2003, at Telstra Dome.



Actor Rob Lowe joins Eddie McGuire and three of Collingwood's finest to sing Good Old Collingwood Forever after the 65-point victory.

2004



Ben Johnson can't bear contemplating Collingwood's sixth loss in a row. Johnson was one of the Magpies' best players during a dismal season.

2005



Who would have thought that St Kilda's All-Australian ruck-rover of 2005 would be playing in a premiership for Collingwood against them in 2010? On the right, Jason and Cameron Cloke make sure the Magpies have the numbers at the contest during round six, 2005.

2006



Nathan Buckley comes to grips with Matt 'Goose' Maguire in the round 14 loss at Telstra Dome.

2007



A famous victory in the wet in round 14: Dale Thomas was the match winner, Josh Fraser the best on the ground.

2008



Shane O'Bree celebrates his 200th game in the round eight victory.

2009



The Saints chopped the Pies to pieces in a Monday night match in round seven. Debutant Steele Sidebottom and Scott Pendlebury can only look on in despair as Andrew McQualter celebrates.



Farewell to a champion. Anthony Rocca bowed out in the 2009 Qualifying Final loss.

2010



A fast-paced start to 2010. It was only the NAB Cup, but Luke Ball stepped out in Collingwood colours for the first time...against his old team, no less. The Gavin Brown-led Magpies went down by only a point in the final minute.



Ball takes down David Armitage, the man tipped to replace him in St Kilda's best 22, in the controversial and highly intense round three loss.



The tables were turned in round 16 as Heath Shaw sprung some surprises in attack. The Magpie engine was starting to motor.



Grand Final day 2010. The journey into the unknown...



Things looked good when Harry O'Brien put the Pies 22 points up late in the second quarter.



But the horror to end all Magpie horrors loomed as Stephen Milne paused to gather the bouncing ball with seconds remaining. Fortunately, the ball eluded the small forward and spared Collingwood supporters a lifetime of bad memories.



The final siren. But not the end.



Only seven days later, the MCG was a blissful place for the loyal Collingwood supporters as their team steamed to their 15th premiership.



A moment to cherish.

2011



Only six months on, but things were different when the two sides next met in round 11, 2011. For example, Chris Tarrant was again a Magpie.
