It’s not just Collingwood’s forward line which is being decimated by injuries, AFL Dream Team coaches across the world are facing what the Magpie’s match committee has been up against over the last month.

With late withdrawals and potential doughnuts creeping up on the field, it’s now more important than ever to make the right trade.

Possible inclusions
Steele Sidebottom (ctr/fwd $110,600)  Coaches should feel enough confidence after watching this kid play two matches that he will be around for a long time.  With a score of 80 in his first match followed by a 61 last week, Sidebottom is facing a breakeven of -56.  As HotRod said in this week’s ‘Faithbook’, let’s hope Malthouse enacts the KISS principle - Keep In Steele Sidebottom.

Scott Pendlebury (ctr $424,100) How can only 20,000 coaches have this DT champion?  His numbers speak for himself, an average over 100 with his highest score 135, this midfielder needs to be considered.  The 21-year-old is a durable player who has scored 103 and 109 in his last two matches against the Eagles.

Nick Maxwell (bac, ctr $288,900) The skipper has produced some career-high scores hitting 102 (round six), 81 (round seven) and 86 (round eight).  His low breakeven (54) makes him even more tempting target.  He produced 12 three pointers last week (a career-high in kicks) and needs to be considered this week.

O Captain! My Captain!
Dane Swan (ctr $431,000) Period!  The 2008 Copeland Trophy winner loves the Eagles.  He has averaged a whopping 146 in his last two matches against West Coast.  Heading into last week under an injury cloud, Swan scored 97 points with only three marks and three tackles.
